Shady Lady Charters
Shady Lady Charters is one of the well-known charter boats along the Alabama Gulf Coast and Florida Panhandle. This reputation is partially based on experienced Captain Brian and his professional crew, who do their best to make every fishing trip a memorable experience for their guests. Regardless of your skill, they’ll put you on fish in no time.
“Shady Lady” is a spacious 60’ A1 Marine boat, often referred to as a battleship. There’s enough room for 40 guests to join and it’s packed with fishing gear for everyone. The boat of this size and capacity easily gets to distant offshore spots.
The boat has 3 staterooms, 2 bathrooms, a large salon, a kitchen, Green Egg grill, high volume ice maker, TV, and she’s fully air-conditioned.
Bottom fishing is our mainstay,red snapper ,amber jacks,triggerfish,vermillion snapper. Some of the fish you can land by trolling are Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Swordfish,and more. Deep-dropping will most likely get you Tilefish and various types of Grouper and Snapper. The list of possible targets doesn’t end here and you’ll get how bountiful these waters are only when you start fishing.
All licenses and fishing equipment are covered by the crew. always bring drinks and snacks. Fish with a great crew. Im going on my 27th season in the business,Brian jr is in his 15th season running my back deck, and our 2nd mate Tuckyr is on his 5 th season with us. We caught our fish! The captain was reserved in his detail of the fishing trip ahead due in part to what others had been dealing with and his own experience. We caught our limit on the second or third spot we stopped on. So fun!! Captain and the crew were friendly and accommodating.

Captain Brian made sure we were in the right spot using the bait we needed there. Young Brian was on the ball, baiting lines removing fish. My group was one hundred percent pure amateur at salt water fishing. They helped all of us to not only understand how to use everything but why. It was very informative, didn’t know the charter would include lessons on deep sea fishing. All around great experience, I’d highly recommend these guys.

Captain Brian and crew were awesome!
My family and I chartered the Shady Lady for 6 hours of fishing Red Snapper. Captain Brian put us on fish immediately after getting to his first spot, then went on to a few more spots to keep it interesting. We maxed our limit and made life long memories. Daughter and nephew heading off to college and we were hoping to have a good time and this far exceeded it. Dolphins and sharks eating our catches, too. Five stars are too few for the time we had.
